No, I never became a lawyer. A few years of struggling through law school instead led me to live out my childhood dream and start an event agency at the age of 26 in 1999. Well, what do you know…

My journey with the event agency lasted 23 years. At the end of 2022, I handed over the CEO role to my thoroughly onboarded successor, and at the turn of the same year, I sold my last shares to the new owners. In our final year, we had a turnover of nearly 200 MSEK, and the agency remains one of the largest and most reputable of its kind in the country.

During those 23 years, I probably did many things wrong. At the same time, you learn from your mistakes, and in the end, I guess I got the hang of it pretty well. Along the way, we went through dot-com crashes, financial crises, and not least a pandemic. Still, we managed to turn a profit every year. I constantly learned new things — both by developing our own organization and by working closely with different clients, each with their own structures and cultures.

I am driven by results. These can of course be monetary, but they can also be things not immediately connected to money. When a CEO stands on stage at a kickoff and gets the entire team excited — that’s results. When we solve that challenge we never seem to get a grip on — that’s results. When we build concepts and brands that capture customers’ interest — that’s results.
