You know your business best. But sometimes an external pair of eyes can help untangle certain knots. Maybe all that’s needed is a different perspective — or perhaps it’s a niche issue where you lack the right experience.

Do you need support with a challenge you’re facing? The meetings industry is naturally closest to home for me, but many of these challenges are very similar regardless of industry. It may well be related to sales, but that is absolutely not a requirement.

Here are a few projects I’ve worked on recently:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – HOTEL GROUP:
For almost two years, I supported a group of boutique hotels across a wide range of business development areas: establishing a new unit in the market, building the brand as well as profitability through public events, increasing upselling, developing the strategy around meetings and events, strengthening relationships with event agencies, recruiting key personnel, and much more.

BUSINESS PLAN – NEW BUSINESS AREA:
A company in the meetings industry wanted to revitalize a dormant business area. I helped them develop a business plan and implement it. Business is now at an all-time high.

PODCAST – SALES STRUCTURE AND SALES WORK:
A podcast that (like many podcasts) had been running for a long time without any revenue now has a partner structure in place that enables long-term sustainability. In addition, all advertising space for the entire year sold out within three months, creating a completely new financial reality for the business.

AI IN THE MEETINGS INDUSTRY:
An event agency wanted to approach AI — but where do you start? I produced an analysis along with concrete implementation recommendations. AI — as exciting as it is scary…

INCREASING SALES VOLUME:
A meeting venue needed to develop its work around presentation techniques and approach new potential clients. I delivered training covering cold calls, how to deliver a strong live pitch, and how to present from a stage — and I also produced a draft plan for how they could approach event agencies for future business.
